Desperate Woman Takes to the Road in Search for Daughter;
Feds, Cops and Gangsters Not Far Behind

SAN FRANCISCO (June 1, 2008) - On July 1, fans of online movies that feature heart-pounding car chases, beautiful women and an assortment of bad guys won’t want to miss the premiere of “Spirits of the Road,” a proposed television series.

The first webisode, “No Good Deed,” follows Melissa (Mel) Aubert, a desperate 39-year old woman with an outlaw past, on a road trip to find and reunite with the daughter she hasn’t seen in ten years. Her frantic journey begins in San Francisco, continues to the Sacramento River Delta, a tangled region of levees and drifters, and then comes to a nail-biting end in the high desert of Carson City, Nevada. During her road trip, Mel gets mixed up with an assortment of characters - from a former associate in the Mob, Mr. P. (aka “the Singing Don), to federal agents who believe she’s in possession of incriminating files that have some connection to the Mafioso and a very high-ranking official at the White House.

Viewers will be able to watch the first 10 minutes of “No Good Deed” for free at SpiritsoftheRoad.com on June 1. The entire film will be available for downloading for $5 on July 1.
